Rules & Regulations

1. The Tournament is Open to Tamil Nadu Players only.

2. Mobile Phones & Watches are not allowed in the playing hall.

3. TNSCA player registration is compulsory for all players. TNSCA player registration fee is Rs. 150/- for the year 2026-2027. For TNSCA New Player Registration link: https://registration.tamilchess.com/new-register/

4. The Latest FIDE Rapid Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss System will be followed.

5. Time Control: Each Player 20 minutes.

6. First Round will be started at 9.45 am on 26.04.2026 (Sunday).

7. Number of Rounds, Round 1 pairing will be displayed on 26.04.2026 (Sunday) after 7 am in www.chess-results.com

8. Strictly No Spot Entries.

9. The players are requested to bring their own Chess set & Chess Clock if any.

10. Tie Breaks: Swiss tiebreak system will be applied.

11. In case of Tie, Prizes will not be shared.

12. Chief Arbiter’s decision will be the Final on all players concerned.

13. Last date for registration: 24.04.2026 before 10 pm.
